At Abercerdin Primary School we develop our pupils to become confident, creative and caring individuals who achieve excellence in everything they do. Our aim is to enable our students to grow and flourish and achieve all their potential. This means educating the whole child and giving them the skills to take the next steps on their journey when they leave us to attend secondary school.
We have a broad and balanced curriculum, which enables pupils of all talents and interests to find a pathway that suits them. The school team with the help of the school community create a love of learning. Our talented, dedicated and expert team provide for our pupils an extensive extracurricular programme of activities. There truly is something on offer for everyone to enjoy.
We have high expectations of our pupils and expect them to behave in a compassionate and respectful manner. In this way all the school community works together to create a calm and ordered environment where every individual pupil can thrive. We aim to develop our pupils’ awareness of the wider community, to engage with the world outside and to develop as global citizens.
We also understand, more now than ever, the importance of emotional health and wellbeing and work with our pupils to give them the tools to build their own mental and physical health and wellbeing.
Thank you for visiting our website. I hope you enjoy learning more about life at Abercerdin Primary School.
